This collection of short stories is a departure for John Kinsella. The stories aren't simply erotic, they are about the representation of sexuality. They consider where the erotic tips into pornography and vice versa. They are readings of popular culture and perversion. They question what constitutes the heterosexual, the voyeuristic, and the binary between acceptable and unacceptable.
